I am Faisal Nour, and I'm beyond delighted to preside over you in the UN General Assembly (Disarmament and International Security Special Committee).Topics to be discussed in our committee are of utmost importance for the international community as they serve as the basis of maintaining global peace and security.
Illicit forms of trafficking remain the talk of the global community till this moment. Arm trafficking for non-state actors imposes a threat on the future of humanity and its existence. Nevertheless, drug-trafficking which is also directly related to the issue, causes adverse effects on international socio-economics and citizens' health.
I look forward to meeting you all, and I'm pretty sure you'll be able to unleash your potential and exceed expectations! I hope you enjoy this MUN, and make it a sentimental one for you and for others.
